访客使用书院图书馆

- 校友 are also free to use the resources and services of the 图书馆 with the same borrowing privileges as current Landmark College students.
- Family members of current Landmark College students are welcome as part of the Landmark College community and as such have full access to the 图书馆’s resources and services. They may borrow 图书馆 materials via their student’s 图书馆 account with the student’s authorization.

访问ors are welcome at the 图书馆 and have different levels of access depending on affiliation with various groups:

访问ors using Landmark College 图书馆 facilities and resources agree to waive all legal claims against Landmark College and its employees which might arise out of their use of the facilities, 理由, 设备, 或其他便利设施. They further agree that they will not bring legal action against Landmark College for any reason, including any injuries they may sustain or for damage to their property resulting from their use of the facilities, 理由, 设备, 或书院的其他设施.

访问ors may use the 图书馆’s books and periodicals onsite for professional or scholarly re搜索 purposes, providing use does not conflict with the 图书馆’s primary responsibility to the Landmark College community. 未成年人必须由父母或监护人全程陪同.
Persons currently enrolled in a Landmark College Institute for 研究 and 培训 workshop should refer to 图书馆 Services for LCIRT Workshop Participants instead of the remainder of this policy.

访客借阅特权
下列人士可申请访客借阅特权:
地标书院附属机构: Spouses and legal partners of current Landmark College 教师 and 工作人员 are eligible for visitor borrowing privileges.
佛蒙特州温德姆县成年居民: 温德姆县的成年居民(18岁以上), 佛蒙特州可能, 出示有效的带照片的身份证件和地址证明, 申请访客借阅特权. Residents under the age of 18 are not eligible for borrowing privileges unless a parent or legal guardian signs for them. The parent or legal guardian must apply in person with the minor and show a valid photo ID and proof of address.

Because our collection is small and heavily used we ask that patrons return materials as soon they are finished with them so others may use them. 我们保留在到期日之前召回物品的权利. 访问ors accruing overdue fines in excess of $10 or having more than 3 overdue items at any one time will have their borrowing privileges suspended.

For books and materials no longer in print or available, the following charges will apply:

访问ors returning damaged items will be billed replacement costs plus a $15 processing fee per item (in addition to the overdue charge, 如果有的话). For books and materials no longer in print or unavailable from the publisher the above charges will apply.
访问ors accruing more than one lost or damaged book within a semester will have their borrowing privileges suspended.
撤销特权
The Director of 图书馆 Services reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend borrowing or in-house privileges to visitors for any reason. In the absence of the 图书馆 director, the 工作人员 member in charge retains the above right.
